Once Commerce Sync is installed and activated, your sales information will transfer each day, for the previous day of sales. This transfer will occur after midnight.
There are a few situations that can cause sales to not transfer into your accounting solution.
- The first thing to try is to open up your Commerce Sync Dashboard, click on the FIX button under Transfer Errors and then hit the Save and Retry button. Occasionally, if QuickBooks Online or Xero is experiencing an outage this will cause your transfers to fail. Simply hitting the Save and Retry button, will prompt the app to communicate with QuickBooks Online or Xero again and this will fix small issues like this.
- If you use QuickBooks Desktop, you will need to use the FIX button and then click Save and Retry to put the data into the pending sync queue. Once it is there, you will need to run a manual sync to have the app communicate with QuickBooks again.
